For any Horus Heresy player it’s surely a special day when they get to field their legion’s Primarch. First among these is of course Lion El’Johnson. Let me show you how I painted mine.
I knew where I was to go when Dark Angels got a Primarch model, the Lion himself. Before that, my battles had been a proxy war with my green dudes trying to be black (and it was partially that up to this winter).
It was a treat working on this from the beginning to the end, and the mini is great! Of the weapon options I chose the Lion Sword rather than the Wolf Blade, which might be the better in game option. The rule of cool takes me far enough nonetheless.
