Setting the standard – A Tale of Two Back-logged LotR Nerds 1

A while back Mr. Easter and I decided to start a Tale of Painters/Escalationesque Lord of the Rings/Hobbit SBG quest to get our back log of models slowly reduced to ashes. Good luck to us with that as we go from a panicked last chance buy streak to a reinvigorated system.

When playing around with a few different gaming systems its easy to forget one of them. This both me and Mr. Easter noticed, so we decided to organize ourselves and paint up something Lord of the Ringsy once in a while between other projects. Just as a little push to keep things moving. When both of us are ready with the last step we move on.

So, without too many words – here’s our first project, a standard bearer for my Rohirrim and one for Mr. Easter’s Easterling. Next up (for me anyroad, Mr. Easter’s gone and finished this already) is a horsey.
